Glad to share that I've completed 9x's AI Starter course. If you're in recruitment, ops, sales, or any non-tech role, this is the easiest entry point I've found.
Also have to shoutout 9x in general, their weekly webinars are amazing. I've been watching them since mid last year, lots of use cases that are easy to put in practice.

9x jumped in at short notice and had everything ready within days. The workshop kicked off with a solid intro to Claude, then moved straight into hands-on building, with the 9x team supporting us throughout. The engagement across the team was great to see, and we left with practical use cases and clear momentum to keep building internally.

I found the course very helpful in many ways but manly the no-code explanations for the roles, applications and the use cases. I made notes so i can always quickly look up the tips you gave me. I do think with some knowledge in coding and AI nowadays you can do a lot of the things that would be considered harder to do in this course. I’ll be practicing now.

The hackathon was the most practical part; I definitely recommend it.
I liked the hackathon because it was the most practical part where you build and can ask questions. You discuss your use cases and share ideas with other participants. AI is the future, so you should definitely learn how to do it, not be afraid of it, and start building with it.

I had a lightbulb moment this week.
I've spent over 10 years in Marketing Technologies, where everything comes down to integrations and automations. But I never thought about it this way until Diogo Guerner said it during our fireside chat (paraphrasing): "AI is democratizing automation and making it sexy."
It’s so true. Marketing automation used to be out of reach for small businesses. Now, armed with the right knowledge and experience, or a trusted partner, AI makes it possible for a company of one to have a marketing engine that’s tailored, powerful, and affordable from the moment they launch.
The energy in the room at the buildersklub and Venture Café Berlin event was incredible. It's clear the Berlin startup scene is filled with passionate builders, and it was great to see organizations like Naviu and 9x supporting that.
Feeling very grateful for the invitation to speak and for being part of this community. What an evening!

Completed the 9x's AI Starter course today! 🎉
The future of finance won't be about AI replacing finance professionals - it will be about finance professionals who know how to use AI.
As AI and automation continue to reshape finance, the real value will shift toward interpreting data, making strategic decisions, solving complex problems, and building better processes. The repetitive work that once consumed hours can increasingly be automated, allowing finance teams to focus on creating business value.
Learning AI is no longer just for developers or data scientists. Whether you work in Finance Operations, FP&A, Accounting, or Controlling, understanding what AI can (and can't) do is becoming an essential skill.
This course is just one step in my journey, and I'm looking forward to exploring how AI and automation can help build more efficient, insightful, and forward-thinking finance functions.

In the first session of an AI training program we spent 45 minutes on the setup. Now their agent queries our database via MCP.
A recent headline from a 9x newsletter says "Companies don't adopt AI. People do." They argue, loosely interpreted, that it needs the early adopters who go through the pain of trying and exploring.
Switching costs are real even when the new thing is faster, better, and more fun. However, the gap between "I use ChatGPT" and "I do AI-native work" can just be that one session. Install the IDE, Homebrew, env files, permission-denied errors…

I took the 9x AI course to get a practical understanding of how AI can be applied in my daily workflow. Even for an advanced user the course proved incredibly helpful in demystifying AI concepts and providing actionable strategies I could implement immediately. I highly recommend this course to any professional looking to leverage AI for productivity gains, regardless of their technical background. It cuts through the hype and delivers real value.

Last night at CIC Berlin, I attended an amazing session on AI marketing automation with Diogo Guerner and Fulvio Minichini.
Finally, a conversation that cut through the hype and delivered real, production-tested ideas. So I will share the best insights:
- They demonstrated their multi-AI pipeline that generates realistic ad creatives at scale. A language model creates localized prompt variations, feeds them to an image generator, and suddenly you're refreshing creatives constantly without expensive photoshoots.
- HeyJobs' approach is brilliantly practical: let everyone prototype with low-code tools, but only escalate to professional engineering when something becomes business-critical. Code is expensive to maintain, not just to create. This philosophy frees developers from babysitting low-value automations while controlling costs.
- Even with sophisticated models, human expertise remains crucial. You still need creative directors who understand composition, humans to catch artifacts, and active oversight to counteract demographic bias. AI amplifies human skill, but it doesn't replace judgment.
- A great tip: find one repetitive task and start there. You don't need a massive budget anymore. Tools like Langdock or n8n make automation accessible to everyone. Start small, prove value, then scale.
- Standardize tools across your organization. When everyone uses the same tools for specific tasks, you can replicate successful models and share knowledge effectively.
The best mojo:
"Start Scrappy, Scale Later"

I took the automation roadmap template from the course and rebuilt it into a German-language process-documentation portal in Softr — even added a voice AI that interviews clients and auto-fills the process. I had a great conversation with Lena Shakurova this week about how we’re approaching AI literacy at A11, and how much of our progress comes from balancing structure with autonomy.
At A11, AI enablement is very intentional:
It combines top-down direction with bottom-up adoption.
From the top-down, our Managing Director Thuy-Ngan Trinh has built the foundation that enables us to move fast.
• Dedicated L&D budget for AI learning
• AI monthly updates to share progress and best practices
• Safe access to AI tools through a structured testing and compliance process
• Company-wide training on how to use AI responsibly
From the bottom-up, every team is hands-on.
We have AI Champions in each department, we rotate through the AI monthly update series, and we’re actively testing AI and automation tools: both to improve internal workflows and to deliver more value for clients.
We also use 9x, our AI education platform, to make sure everyone has the skills to use AI confidently and effectively.
This structured approach: clear leadership direction, strong enablement, and empowered teams => is what makes AI adoption stick.

Really great bootcamp 9x! As an engineer, I have to admit I was initially skeptical of no-code. But now, after this, and after seeing what HR, customer care, SDRs, sales executives, lawyers, treasury, group booking agents, people with 0 technical background built in just a single week was truly mind-blowing. It’s official: I built my first AI Agent! 🤖
Like many of you, I’ve watched AI agents dominate the conversation over the past year.
But I learn best by doing, so I finally stopped observing from the sidelines and got hands-on.
Last week, I joined 9x’s live session “Build an AI Agent” hosted by Jan Meinecke. Using n8n for orchestration, Firecrawl for web scraping, Airtable for structured data storage, and Anthropic as the reasoning engine, we built a no-code workflow from scratch.
By the end of the session, I had built an AI agent that scrapes websites, detects changes, and automatically logs them into a database. It’s a simple proof of concept, but one with infinitely scalable applications across monitoring, research, and ops automation! Now that I know how to spin up an agent… the big question is: what should I build next?

Before my employer forced me to the 9x self-paced AI learning course, I totally refused any AI use (maybe influenced by the "Terminator" movie series, where AI is the enemy). Now I have used course examples in my daily work to solve problems, for example correcting thousands of database records in a few seconds instead of days of boring manual work!

9x jumped in at short notice and had everything ready within days. The workshop kicked off with a solid intro to Claude, then moved straight into hands-on building, with the 9x team supporting us throughout. The engagement across the team was great to see, and we left with practical use cases and clear momentum to keep building internally.

I took the automation roadmap template from the course and rebuilt it into a German-language process-documentation portal in Softr — even added a voice AI that interviews clients and auto-fills the process. I sold it to a client who's documented 39 processes through it, and it's now the backbone of how I scope automation projects. The course gave me something I could actually sell.

Today wrapped up our 1st 4 week training program with 9x. Helping to make the amazing people in our Perk team more productive and efficient with AI. Looking forward to seeing how they take these new skills and continue to innovate. Huge thanks to everyone who took part and of course to 9x for the amazing sessions and for running our hack week 🤖

I built personalized campaigns in three days with no-code and AI - now I have full control. I wanted to send more personalized campaigns to drive revenue based on user attributes like lifetime value. I thought this required a developer or an expensive tool. But with no-code, AI, and 9x, I built a working solution in three days. Now I have full control over my campaigns, including who receives them, when they're sent, and how they're delivered.

The hackathon was the most practical part; I definitely recommend it.
I liked the hackathon because it was the most practical part where you build and can ask questions. You discuss your use cases and share ideas with other participants. AI is the future, so you should definitely learn how to do it, not be afraid of it, and start building with it.

👇 Here’s how we visualize it:

Thank you to Fulvio and Diogo for the practical wisdom, and Venture Café Berlin for creating the space. Events like this is why I love the Berlin tech community: real insights, zero fluff.

I'm such a fan of 9x and think you do such a great job Alexandre Kantjas.
They had a big impact in the early days of my AI learning journey, and now I have my own Human-first, AI forward implementation process.
I love how well researched, engineered and non-hype their work is. And their contributions.

Solutions that will save themselves and their teams hours of manual, repetitive work every week, and it was amazing to see everyone’s eyes opened to the power of AI. Let’s go! 🚀🚀

I love their classes, and especially I am interested in Make and Airtable features, it opens a completely new world of possibilities by using these automations. I think that the team is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and will make sure to deep dive into any questions you will have. I need to give a massive shout-out to Jan as he is a wizard with Make and helped me a lot with multiple occasions to finish some automations, and improve processes.

Anyone who knows me will tell you learning new things solo is a painfully slow experience. The automation community has a ton of free info flying around, but none of it is really accessible or consumable in any productive way. 9x gets right to it, helped map a better understanding of the space for me + guided towards considerations I haven't thought of before.

This course exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, it’s jam-packed with content that’s super easy to revisit whenever needed. I loved how everything was relatable and easy to understand—definitely not your typical dry online class. The best part? All the concise information that I can reference anytime. Now, when tackling projects, I've turned to this info whenever I face 400 errors or need to tweak my JSON.
