Live workshop session for 9x Pro members learning how to use AI tools

Five months ago, we launched 9x Pro - our membership for business operators who want to build with AI. We launched it with courses, a content library, a community, and live sessions.

We also launched it with a conviction: the future of 9x is its community. Our work with companies keeps us sharp - delivering AI enablement programs for demanding clients is how we stay in the game and keep pushing ourselves. But the company we want to build is the one we build in public, with operators learning on our community.

Five months in, the feedback points one way: the future of 9x Pro is live.

What five months of Pro taught us

We spent the first five months of 9x Pro watching closely. We collected feedback after every session. We looked at what members used and what they ignored. We compared formats against each other.

Three things stood out:

  • Members who joined live cohorts got further than members who only had access to the community and the content library.

  • The live sessions were the moments the community came alive: questions got answered, builds got finished, wins got shared.

  • Teaching live is what we do best. It’s how we work with our B2B clients, and it’s where members told us they got the most value.

The conclusion wrote itself: we’re turning 9x Pro into the membership where you get to learn AI live, all year long.

Why we’re going all-in on Live

This shift isn’t a small tweak to the content calendar. It goes much deeper than that and is a decision about what the membership fundamentally is. It makes sense for three reasons:

  • People learn best live

  • Live is the only format that keeps pace with AI

  • Live lets us tailor the learning to the community

People learn best live

Recorded courses have a completion problem. You know how it goes: you buy the course, you watch two lessons, life happens in the meantime and most people end up not completing it. And that’s okay, nothing can change that.

Live sessions, on the other hand, flip the incentives. There’s a date in your calendar, a group building next to you, an expert you can interrupt if you are stuck. After seeing a world of difference between live training and any other format we’ve tried, the logical conclusion was that we should double down on this format.

The resources we’ve built still matter - our course library, the tutorials, and the recordings all support the learning. But the learning itself happens live. That’s where members show up, build, and leave with something that works.

Live is the only format that keeps pace with AI

AI changes fast, and if anything the trend has been accelerating in 2026. A course produced in January can be outdated by June. The Claude Cowork course we recorded in H1 this year is already a victim: the UI has evolved and some of the videos would already need to be re-recorded.

Offering out of date content to our members is not acceptable. And re-recording content on a regular basis is not sustainable for us.

We’ll keep making courses for the evergreen concepts — the topics that deserve deep, structured treatment. But courses alone can’t cover the ground that matters right now: new tools, new capabilities, new workflows.

Live workshops can. We can teach a new capability weeks — sometimes days — after it ships. That speed and flexibility matters. It’ll help us ensure our community members get the latest relevant AI developments broken down for them.

Live lets us tailor the learning to the community

A course is fixed the day we record it. Live workshops are more flexible.

With live formats we can experiment: different session types, different depths, different functions. We can ask the community what they want to learn next and deliver it weeks later. We can adjust based on what worked last month.

That versatility is impossible with recorded content alone. It’s what turns a content subscription into a living learning program.

What to expect in 9x Pro Workshops

Over the past five months, we heard a clear set of requests from the community and from our customers:

  • Being able to cover more topics

  • More tailored content for specific functions and use cases

  • Going deeper on how specific use cases were built

The three workshop formats we’re introducing map directly to those requests:

9x Pro now unlocks three new workshop formats:

  • Series

  • Quarterly refresh

  • Use-case build

Series: one topic, from first build to mastery

Learning AI can mean so many different things as there is an abundance of tools and topics to cover. So we’re introducing series.

A series is two or more workshops that add up to mastery of one topic - a tool like ChatGPT Work or Claude Code, or a method like building Skills or context engineering. Every series starts with a free intro session open to everyone. From there the series continues inside 9x Pro, one layer at a time.

For example: our first series in August covers ChatGPT Work and runs across four workshops:

Not only will series allow us to cover a broader set of topics - they will let us update and refresh our content much more easily than courses. More content - and more up-to-date content. Win-win.

Quarterly refresh: stay up-to-dat

e on what changed in AI for your function

Once a quarter, we run a session for each main business function: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, People, and Management. Two per month, so every function comes back around every three months.

These sessions answer one question: what has actually changed for people doing your job? Not AI in general - AI in sales, AI in finance, AI in people teams.

Each refresh will cover:

  • What’s new since last quarter

  • What teams on the edge are building right now

  • The map of use cases specific to this function

  • A demo of one or more of these use cases

  • A success story from a community member

  • An open Q&A to close the session

Since three months is an eternity with AI, we’ll run these every quarter to make sure the trends and recommendations remain up-to-date.

Live use-case build: one real use case, built in front of you

The third format is the narrowest, and often the most immediately useful. We take one real use case and build it in front of you, from empty screen to working output.

Each session will cover:

  • What is the use case and why it’s worth building

  • A demo of the finished version so you know where we’re heading

  • How to build it, live, in its simpler form

  • How to take it further and adapt it to your context

The use cases come from the work operators actually do, taken from our work enabling business teams leverage AI at work.

Learn live with us

The future of 9x is its community - a community that learns what’s next in AI, live.

You’ll always see at least a month of sessions in advance, so you can plan your calendar around what matters to your work. Every week, there will be at least one live workshop to join.

If you’re already a Pro member, check the workshop calendar and block the next sessions now.

If you’re not yet, become a Pro member and start learning live with us.
